  • A request until you confirm it, so the diary stays yours

Job cards

See where every car is up to.

Each job is a card with the work, the prices, the photos and the notes. Move it one step and everyone who needs to know, knows. Every change has an Undo.

  • Labour, parts and paint lines with GST worked out
  • A promised-back date on every job, flagged when it slips
  • Technicians see only their own jobs

One job, start to finish.

The same four steps for a service, a brake job or a respray.

  1. The customer books

Rego, what needs doing, photos and a drop-off time, from their phone.

  2. The front desk confirms

One tap confirms the time and texts the customer. On arrival, the booking becomes a job card.

  3. The technician works

Notes, photos and work items go on the card. The job moves across the board as it progresses.

  4. The customer picks up

A "ready" text goes out with the total. The closed job card joins the car's history.

Built for everyone in the workshop.

Owners

See cars on the floor, work in progress in dollars and what is running late, without walking out the back. Set up staff logins, services and message templates.

Front desk

A list of what needs you today: bookings to answer, drop-offs due, quotes waiting, customers to tell their car is ready.

Technicians

Your jobs and nothing else. Big buttons that work on a phone in the bay. Add a note or a photo and move the job on.

On the roadmap

AI that takes work off the front desk.

Steerable is made by Experience AI Labs. These two features are in development and are not in the product yet.

Photo to draft quoteComing

Booking photos and the areas the customer marks become a draft estimate, priced from what your own workshop charged for similar jobs. Your estimator checks and adjusts it.

An answered phoneComing

An assistant on phone and SMS that takes bookings straight into the diary and answers "is my car ready?" from the live job card, then hands anything tricky to a person.

Questions.

Do my customers need an app or an account?

No. They book and check progress from a web page using their rego. Confirmations and updates arrive by SMS and email.

Does it suit both mechanical and panel shops?

Yes. A job card holds labour, parts, paint and sublet lines, and the booking form's services are yours to set. Panel shops also get a tap-the-car diagram for marking damage, and insurer and claim fields.

What does it cost?

Pricing is not set yet. We are working it out with early-access workshops, and they will hear first.

Is it available in New Zealand?

Not yet. Steerable is launching in Australia first. New Zealand support, including plates without a state and 15% GST, is planned.

Who can see what?

Every staff member has their own login. Technicians see their own jobs; front desk sees bookings, jobs and customers; admins also manage settings and staff.
